The Burkert Series 6213 comprises servo-assisted 2/2-way normally closed diaphragm solenoid valves. These valves are distinguished by their compact design, high flow capacity, ability to start up at zero pressure, and low operational noise. They are well-suited for use with water as well as neutral and mildly corrosive fluids.
Available in sizes ranging from DN10 to DN40 and designed to operate within a pressure range of 0 to 10 bar, the Series 6213 valves are commonly deployed across various sectors including water treatment, food and beverage production, pharmaceuticals, and other industries.
The Series 6213 valve functions as a P/NC (normally closed, inlet port P) 2/2-way solenoid valve, utilizing a force-coupled diaphragm combined with a spring in a servo-assisted configuration. The standard model supports startup at zero pressure; however, a minimum pressure difference of 0.1 bar is advised to ensure full valve opening.
A specialized HP00 version of the valve is capable of opening without any pressure difference, making it ideal for applications involving gases and vacuum environments. Additionally, the valve incorporates a damping mechanism that effectively mitigates water hammer and minimizes switching noise, resulting in smooth and quiet operation.
