The IMI Norgren Excelon Modular Air Preparation Units, which include the B72G/B73G/B74G, R72G/R73G/R74G, and F72G series, are comprehensive 3-in-1 devices that incorporate filtration, pressure regulation, and lubrication functions. These units are tailored for use in industrial compressed air systems, with their primary objectives being the efficient elimination of moisture, oil mist, and particulate contaminants, stabilization of output pressure, and provision of lubrication safeguard for pneumatic components.
The Excelon units are modular in design, offering the flexibility to be employed individually or in conjunction with other Excelon components for a broad range of applications. Manufactured predominantly in Mexico and Germany, they are engineered to comply with ISO standard thread ports, such as ISO Rc Taper and ISO-G Parallel, while boasting an operational pressure range spanning from 0.3 to 17 bar. Filter elements are obtainable in various grades, ranging from 0.01μm, which is suitable for oil removal, to 40μm, which serves general purposes, rendering them capable of withstanding extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C.
