The Burkert 5404 series features a servo-assisted 2/2-way piston solenoid valve, offered in both normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) configurations. This valve requires a minimum differential pressure to perform its switching function effectively.

The solenoid coils are encapsulated using high-quality epoxy resin or polyamide, ensuring durability and reliable performance. To optimize power efficiency during operation, versions equipped with "Kick and Drop" (KD) electronic assembly—utilizing double coil technology—are available.
