The Skylink SK Series pump diaphragms are premium replacement membranes specially engineered for the Skylink SK Series air-operated double diaphragm pumps. These diaphragms are compatible with models SK15, SK25, SK40, SK50, and SK80. Constructed from superior materials such as Blue Santoprene, PTFE (Teflon), and NBR (Buna-N), they provide exceptional chemical resistance, extended flex life, and dependable sealing performance, even under the most challenging industrial conditions.
Santoprene is a high-performance thermoplastic elastomer that combines the flexibility and elasticity characteristic of rubber with the durability and ease of processing found in thermoplastics. The Blue Santoprene variation offers outstanding abrasion resistance, a wide range of chemical tolerance, and a long flex life. This makes it especially suitable for handling abrasive slurries and moderate chemical substances within a temperature range of -40°C to +130°C. PTFE, also known as Teflon, is recognized as the most chemically inert material available. It delivers nearly universal chemical resistance across a broad pH span from 0 to 14 and can endure aggressive chemicals and high temperatures up to +260°C. On the other hand, NBR (Buna-N) boasts excellent elasticity, commendable oil resistance, wear resistance, and mechanical resilience to solid and abrasive particles, making it ideal for general-purpose uses involving oils, water, and mild chemicals.
