The Alstom Optipow 105 and 135 are high-performance piston type pulse jet solenoid valves engineered for reverse pulse filter cleaning in industrial dust collectors and baghouse systems. As the compressed air "switch" in pulse bag dust collector systems, these valves are controlled by electric signals from a pulse controller to deliver instantaneous, high-energy air bursts for effective filter cleaning.
The Optipow series is available in two specifications: Model 105 and Model 135 – the numbers represent the piston diameter in millimeters. Model 105 features a nominal diameter of DN80 (3"), while Model 135 features DN100 (4"). The valve body is constructed from die-cast aluminum alloy (SS 4250 / GD-AlSi9Cu3), offering lightweight durability and corrosion resistance.
These valves are primarily designed for use with circular pressure tanks and are easy to install and service. They feature a pilot membrane structure with a robust design for normal use at air pressures up to 6 bar. The compact pulse valve is the result of many years of experience within the fabric filter technology area. A genuine red imported diaphragm (rubber disc) acts as a damper for forces transferred from the plunger, reducing deceleration forces and extending service life.
