The Durbal BEF{10/12}-{20/21}-{501/502} is a Classic Line female-thread rod end bearing manufactured in Germany. This high-quality component features a zinc-plated steel housing that is combined with an integral spherical plain bearing lined with PTFE. The design ensures a maintenance-free and self-aligning joint, making it ideal for oscillating and misaligned movements.
Equipped with an internal {M10/M12} thread, the rod end bearing can be mounted directly onto a threaded linkage or tie rod. It is available in both {right-hand/left-hand} versions, enabling the construction of mirror-image or adjustable-length linkage assemblies. Tightening both sides of such assemblies helps to center the joint perfectly.
The use of PTFE-on-steel sliding technology offers several advantages, including low friction and immediate operability without any break-in period. Additionally, this technology eliminates the need for re-greasing, providing reliable performance even in environments subject to contamination.
