The Burkert 6281 series belongs to the S.EV line and is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valve. It is specifically engineered to provide reliable shut-off, precise dosing, and efficient filling for neutral and mildly aggressive gaseous and liquid media. For proper operation, the valve requires a minimum differential pressure.
Constructed with a robust stainless steel body and equipped with an FKM (fluororubber) seal, this valve offers excellent corrosion resistance along with the ability to perform under high-temperature conditions. These features make it well-suited for demanding industrial environments where durability and reliability are critical.
A convenient manual override is integrated into the design, enhancing serviceability. This feature facilitates straightforward maintenance, commissioning, and emergency operation when power is unavailable. To activate manual control, the operator simply turns the hand lever located beneath the solenoid to a vertical position.
The valve also incorporates a vibration-resistant coil system secured with a central screw and utilizes a damped mechanism to ensure quiet closing. The solenoid coils are moulded using chemically resistant epoxy, contributing to longevity and consistent performance. Additionally, for energy efficiency, all coils can be supplied with electronic power reduction by means of Kick and Drop double coil technology.
When paired with an appropriate cable plug conforming to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, the valves meet the IP65 protection rating.
