The 2W Series, consisting of the 2W UD and 2W UW sub-series, represents a line of high-performance, direct-acting 2/2-way solenoid valves. These valves are specifically engineered for dependable on/off control of various fluids including water, air, oil, gas, and fuel. The UD sub-series accommodates standard port sizes ranging from G3/8" up to G1‑1/4", whereas the UW sub-series caters to larger port sizes, spanning from G1‑1/4" to G2", making it ideal for applications requiring high flow rates.
Designed with versatility in mind, the valves incorporate a direct-acting diaphragm mechanism that enables operation starting at zero pressure (0 bar). This feature eliminates the necessity for a minimum differential pressure, thereby ensuring immediate valve response and dependable operation even in low-pressure environments or gravity-fed systems.
The 2W Series is offered in both Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) configurations, allowing customization to suit particular system requirements. The valve bodies are available in forged brass (designated as 2W) or stainless steel (2S). Additionally, a variety of seal materials such as NBR (standard), EPDM, and FKM (Viton) are offered to handle different media types and temperature ranges. Standard voltage options include DC24V, AC110V, AC220V, and AC380V, with the possibility of custom voltages upon request.
The direct-acting design allows the device to operate reliably starting from 0 bar pressure. This feature makes it ideal for systems that operate under low pressure or are gravity-fed.
The product is offered with orifice sizes ranging from 16 mm to 50 mm in the UW series. With Cv values spanning from 4.8 up to 48, it guarantees efficient performance in various system conditions.
Crafted from either forged brass (2W) or precision-cast stainless steel (2S), the device ensures excellent resistance to corrosion and delivers long-lasting durability.
Standard seals made from NBR accommodate temperatures between -5°C and +80°C. For environments requiring higher temperature resistance or specific chemical compatibility, EPDM and FKM (Viton) seals are also available.
