The 2W Series, which includes the 2W UD and 2W UW sub-series, is a high-performance, direct-acting 2/2-way solenoid valve designed to provide reliable on/off control for various media such as water, air, oil, gas, and fuel. The UD sub-series supports standard port sizes ranging from G3/8" to G1-1/4", whereas the UW sub-series is designed for larger openings from G1-1/4" up to G2", making it ideal for applications requiring high flow rates.
This valve is engineered with versatility in mind, featuring a direct-acting diaphragm mechanism that enables operation starting from zero pressure (0 bar). This design removes the need for a minimum differential pressure, guaranteeing quick response times and dependable performance even in low-pressure or gravity-fed systems.
The 2W Series is available in both Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) configurations, allowing customization to suit specific system demands. The valve body materials include forged brass for the 2W variant and stainless steel for the 2S variant. Additionally, seal options such as NBR (standard), EPDM, and FKM (Viton) provide compatibility with a wide range of media and temperature conditions. The valves support standard voltages including DC24V, AC110V, AC220V, and AC380V, with the possibility of custom voltage options upon request.
The direct-acting design allows the device to operate reliably from zero bar pressure. This makes it ideal for use in low-pressure environments as well as gravity-fed systems.
The product is offered with orifice sizes ranging from 16 mm to 50 mm in the UW series. Corresponding Cv values range between 4.8 and 48, ensuring optimal performance across various system requirements.
Constructed either from forged brass (2W) or precision-cast stainless steel (2S), the device delivers excellent corrosion resistance for enhanced durability and long-term use.
Standard seals made from NBR accommodate temperatures from -5°C up to +80°C. For applications requiring higher temperature tolerance or chemical resistance, EPDM and FKM (Viton) seals are also available.
