The 2W Series, which includes the 2W UD and 2W UW sub-series, represents a line of high-performance, direct-acting 2/2-way solenoid valves. These valves are specifically designed to provide reliable on/off control for a variety of media such as water, air, oil, gas, and fuel. The UD sub-series covers standard port sizes ranging from G3/8" up to G1‑1/4", while the UW sub-series is intended for larger apertures, spanning from G1‑1/4" to G2", making it ideal for high-flow applications.
Designed with versatility in mind, the valve incorporates a direct-acting diaphragm structure that enables it to operate starting from zero pressure (0 bar). This design negates the necessity for a minimum differential pressure, ensuring that the valve responds immediately and performs reliably, even in low-pressure environments or gravity-fed systems.
The 2W Series is available in both Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) configurations, allowing customization to suit specific system needs. The valve body is constructed from either forged brass (designated as 2W) or stainless steel (designated as 2S). To accommodate different media types and temperature ranges, a variety of seal materials are offered, including standard NBR, EPDM, and FKM (Viton). Additionally, the valves support standard voltages such as DC24V, AC110V, AC220V, and AC380V, with the option for custom voltages upon request.
The direct-acting design allows for dependable operation starting from 0 bar pressure. This feature makes it ideal for use in low-pressure as well as gravity-fed systems, ensuring smooth functionality right from the start.
The product is offered with orifice sizes ranging from 16 mm to 50 mm in the UW series. With Cv values spanning from 4.8 up to 48, it guarantees efficient and effective system performance across various applications.
Manufactured using forged brass (2W) or precision-cast stainless steel (2S), the unit boasts excellent corrosion resistance and extended durability, making it a reliable choice for long-term use.
