Building Material Cone Calorimeter Heat Release Rate Tester
Cone calorimeter is the most important fire testing instrument for combustion performance evaluation of building materials. It calculates heat release rate based on oxygen consumption of flue gas during sample burning. Accurate heat release rate measurement is critical for fire risk prediction, fire prevention design and flame retardant material development.
Working Principle
The equipment measures oxygen concentration in combustion flue gas stream, then calculates material heat release rate according to oxygen consumption theory. Heat release rate is the core parameter to evaluate combustion characteristics of burning materials. It can record multiple real-time test data to assess fire hazard level of samples.
