Product Brief
The Micro-computer Plastic Burning or Decomposition Smoke Density Test Apparatus is professional lab testing equipment to assess smoke generation characteristics. It performs measurement when samples burn or decompose under controlled conditions. The tester is not limited to plastic materials; it is also suitable for testing different types of building materials. This instrument meets ASTM D2843, DIN 4102 and GB/T 8627 standards. It uses photometric method to capture light attenuation caused by smoke, then computes smoke density values. It is widely used for fire hazard assessment of polymer and building materials in manufacturing factories and testing organizations.
Product Advantages
High-precision photometric module: The light source is a 15W bulb with 6V working voltage. It can test smoke density within 0~100% range with ±3% accuracy. The receiving lens focal length is 60-65mm to keep stable optical performance.
Flexible gas pressure regulation: Main burner pressure max 276kpa adjustable; auxiliary combustion chamber pressure 138kpa adjustable. It keeps stable combustion environment for repeatable test results.
High durability combustion chamber: Made of 1.2mm thick 304 stainless steel, combustion box size L300×W300×H790mm. Anti-corrosion and high temperature resistant for repeated test cycles.
Dual control panels for easy operation. Visual observation window allows real-time viewing of sample combustion and smoke formation.
Small footprint: Overall dimension 800500500mm and weight 35kg, easy to place and transport in laboratory.
