This carpet flammability tester is professionally developed to evaluate the reaction of floor coverings and carpet materials under small ignition sources. It supports two classic test methods: the hot metal nut test (BS 4790) and the methenamine tablet test (ISO 6925, BS 6307).
The test chamber is built with non-combustible, heat-resistant panels and fitted with a counterweight sliding door for convenient specimen loading and unloading. An angled observation mirror installed inside the chamber allows operators to clearly observe the burning state of samples throughout the entire testing process without opening the cabin.
It is an essential laboratory instrument for carpet and vinyl flooring manufacturers, textile floor covering producers, third-party fire testing laboratories and inspection institutions.
Suitable for fire performance testing of all types of floor coverings, including tufted carpet, woven carpet, textile floor mats, PVC floor covering, linoleum flooring and rubber floor materials.
