Carbon Steel A234 WPB Buttweld Fittings are made of carbon steel that conform to the ASTM A234 WPB standard & they are typically used in high-pressure and high-temperature applications such as oil and gas pipelines, power plants, and chemical plants. The fittings are known for their high strength, durability, and corrosion resistance properties. They can be easily connected to pipes and other fittings by butt welding, which is a type of welding where the fittings are inserted into the ends of the pipes to be joined together.
In addition, they are cost-effective and can be used in various applications. CS A234 Buttweld Fittings are ideal for use in household, commercial, and industrial applications. ASTM A234 Pipe Fittings and CS A860 Buttweld fittings are generally used in piping systems at elevated and moderate temperatures. Generally, they are made of carbon steel, alloy steel, and weldable steel. In some cases, they are seamless pipe products. However, ASME B16 has added seamless construction, which can reduce installation costs.
