1. What is the difference between Forged and Cast flanges?
Forged flanges are made by hammering or pressing heated steel, which creates a continuous grain flow. Cast flanges are made by pouring molten metal into a mold. Forged flanges are significantly stronger and less prone to cracking under high pressure.
