Product introduction of 1350 Aluminum Sheet
There are many differences between cast rolling aluminum sheet and hot rolling aluminum sheet. Here we’d like to specify on the following points:
1.Prices
Cast rolling is cheaper than hot rolling because of its easy production process.
2.Supply of blank product
Cast rolling: ingot-melting-strip rolling by casting and rolling mill. High production efficient, but quality is not as good as hot rolling material.
Hot rolling: ingot- melting and casting flat ingots – milling surface-homogenization annealing - hot rolling into strip.
3.Production process
Cast rolling: roll-casting coil with thickness 6-8mm (by roll-casting mill) - aluminum sheet (by cold rolling mill)
Hot rolling: aluminum flat ingot with thickness 400-500mm (under high temperature)—aluminum sheet(by hot rolling mill)
4.Properties
Hot rolling aluminum sheet has bellow characteristic:
*Good surface quality
*Strong mechanical properties and ductility
Good oxidation effect
Aluminum circles are usually processed from aluminum sheet, therefore it will be effect by the properties of aluminum sheet.
5.Applications
Cold rolling aluminum sheet are mostly used in mold class.
Hot-rolled aluminum sheet is suitable for stamping and stretching.
6.Finished product status
Generally, the elongation of cold-rolled final products is lower than that of hot-rolled final products. In addition, the surface of hot rolled products is usually brighter.
