  • Function: Bonds the outer PET to the critical barrier layer with precision.

• Layer 3 (Primary Barrier): 9µ Metallized PET (or Metallized OPP).

  • Function: The core defense. The vacuum-deposited aluminum layer creates an impenetrable barrier to oxygen (<1.0 cc/m²/day) and light (>99.9% UV & visible light blockage). This is the most effective commercial barrier against photo-oxidation.
