The ultrasonic sensor features a switch output with two teachable switching points. These are set by applying the supply voltage - UB or + UB to the TEACH-IN input for at least 1 second. LEDs indicate whether the sensor has recognized the target during the TEACH-IN procedure.
Switching points can only be adjusted within 5 minutes after power-on. To change settings, the system must be restarted.

When installing the sensor in environments below 0℃, proper protective measures must be implemented. For direct mounting in through holes using steel nuts, the sensor should be fixed at the middle of the housing thread.
