KCW103 Frequency - Modulated Scale Inhibitor
Introduction
The KCW103 frequency - modulated scale inhibitor solves the problem of water scaling through an electromagnetic field. The equipment consists of a control box and electromagnetic coils wound around the pipeline (ferrite magnetic rings are used for large - diameter pipes). The coils or magnetic rings generate a frequency - modulated electromagnetic field. Scale - forming ions actively collide under the drive of the electromagnetic field to form CaCO₃ crystals. These crystals will flow away with the water and will not adhere to the pipe wall to form scale. After the water is treated by the electromagnetic field, the calcium ion content decreases, and the water is softened, fundamentally preventing scaling.
The frequency - modulated electromagnetic scale inhibitor can be used for:
1,Circulating cooling water: To prevent scaling in refrigeration machines (condensers), air compressors, plate heat exchangers, and evaporative condensers (closed - type towers).
2,Process water: For scale inhibition in coal chemical industry - ash water pipelines and heat exchangers, and in oil fields - transportation pipelines and heat exchangers.
3,Sewage treatment: To increase the SS removal rate in sedimentation tanks, and also for scale inhibition in anaerobic towers, RO membranes, and evaporative crystallization (MVR).
Composition of Scale: Calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)₂), calcium sulfate (CaSO₄), barium sulfate (BaSO₄), silicon dioxide (SiO₂), etc.
Cause of Scaling: When the mineral content in water exceeds its solubility (supersaturated solution), calcium ions and carbonate ions will precipitate to form CaCO₃ crystals, which adhere to the pipe wall to form scale.
Harm of Equipment Scaling: It clogs pipelines, increases energy consumption, shortens the service life of equipment, provides a breeding ground for bacteria in scale, requires frequent manual cleaning and maintenance, and necessitates the addition of a large amount of chemical agents.The scale inhibitor uses an electromagnetic method for descaling. It consists of a frequency - modulated current generator and a signal cable wound around the outer wall of the pipeline. The coil generates an induced magnetic field to treat the flowing water. This equipment can handle the scaling problems of various complex water qualities.
Treatment Principle:
Force scale - forming ions to crystallize, reducing the number of scale - forming ions.
Break the hydrogen bonds of water molecule clusters, increasing the proportion of free water molecules.
Result: The water changes from a supersaturated solution to an unsaturated solution, with increased dissolving power, which can dissolve the already - formed scale and prevent the formation of new scale.
