Product Introduction
The KOSO EP800 series electro-pneumatic positioners are designed for use with pneumatic actuators, specifically for positioning pneumatic actuator-operated control valves. They convert an input 4-20mA DC signal into output air pressure to control the actions of the actuator. Meanwhile, they receive feedback based on the actuator's stroke, enabling the actuator's stroke to be precisely positioned according to the control signal.
This series includes various models, divided into straight stroke and angular stroke series, with single-acting (such as EPA801, EPA804) and double-acting (such as EPC801, EPC804) types. Precise Positioning: Achieves accurate positioning of the actuator's stroke through valve position feedback from the valve stem, with a dead zone of less than 0.4% of the full stroke and a backdrop of less than 1% for full travel.
Versatile Input Signals: Supports standard 4-20mA DC input signals, as well as split signals like 4-12mA DC, 12-20mA DC, and 10-50mA DC (for specific models), adapting to different control systems.
Wide Application Range: Suitable for both straight stroke (12-100mm) and angular stroke (0-90 degrees) actuators, meeting various valve control needs.
Flexible Output Characteristics: Linear output characteristics by default, which can be changed to fast open or equal percentage characteristics, providing adaptability to different process requirements.
Durable Construction: Housing made of aluminum alloy, ensuring durability. It comes in flameproof and normal types, withstanding a wide range of ambient temperatures (-40-80oC for normal type, -20-60oC for flameproof type) and relative humidity up to 90%.
