FM200 Fire Suppression System HFC-227ea Fire Extinguishing System with Enclosed

FM200 (HFC-227ea) is a colorless, odorless, non-corrosive, and electrically insulating extinguishing gas that leaves no residue or pollution after discharge. Its Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) is zero, making it an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent. These properties make it particularly suitable for locations where electrical fires are likely to occur.

The system also supports management of multiple zones. A single system can protect multiple zones through selective valves, allowing the system to target different protected areas alternately. The agent is discharged directly into the zone where the fire occurs, ensuring efficient and rapid fire suppression. A small storage room should be reserved for housing the system components.

Suitable for electronic computer rooms, data processing centers, telecommunications facilities, process control rooms, expensive medical equipment, industrial equipment, libraries, museums and art galleries, clean rooms, and flammable liquid storage areas.

Also ideal for locations where fires are likely to occur, including paint-spraying production lines, aging electrical equipment, rolling machines, printing machines, oil switches, oil-immersed transformers, melt impregnating tanks, storage tanks, large generators, drying equipment, cement production processes involving pulverized coal, and ship engine rooms and cargo holds.

The 4.2 MPa HFC-227ea fire suppression system for optional zones is mainly composed of three parts: extinguishing devices, pipe fittings, and electrical accessories.

• Extinguishing devices — cylinders for filling and storing FM200, frames, and driving devices (nitrogen cylinders) that trigger the storage cylinder to discharge the agent.
• Pipe fittings — conduits that connect the extinguishing device and guide the agent into the protected zone, such as high-pressure galvanized steel pipes, flanges, and elbows.
• Electrical accessories — components used to detect and monitor the entire protected area, control the whole system, warn occupants to evacuate, and prevent fire expansion.

These three integrated parts work together to efficiently detect, supervise, alarm, and automatically extinguish fires. The complete system composition is shown below.
