The 3Kg FM200 Fire Extinguisher Tube is a self-contained, automatic fire suppression device built to the GB25972-2010 standard. It combines fire detection and extinguishing functions in a single, compact system, making it ideal for protecting enclosed equipment and areas where conventional fire alarm systems, piping, or nozzles are difficult to install.

This device uses a pressurized fire trace tube connected to an extinguishing agent store to detect and suppress fires. It supports both carbon dioxide (CO₂) and HFC-227ea / FM200 as extinguishing agents.

The system is typically built to accommodate both direct release and indirect release discharge types. When a fire first ignites, the fire trace activates the system, which then delivers the extinguishing agent through the fire trace tube — this is known as a direct release. In the indirect release method, the fire trace tube is used solely to detect a fire, and the extinguishing agent is released through a separate release tube as soon as the fire is sensed.

The fire trace extinguishing device is an effective solution for locations where fixed equipment is impractical, because it can be used in areas where installing fire alarm systems, pipes, or nozzles is challenging — including narrow spaces and unusual situations.

The fire detecting tube can be fixed anywhere a fire can easily start, thanks to its flexible properties. As a result, a fire inside a cabinet has a chance of spreading quickly and damaging the fire detection tube. When the fire detecting tube breaks, the air pressure changes, causing the extinguishing agent to emerge and spray out of the hole where it broke to put out the fire. A small alarm bell that chimes on top of the fire extinguisher alerts users to the presence of a fire and requests that they check it out and refuel the system.

To build a system for this extinguishing device, no electrical components or pipe fittings are required. It can also serve as a standalone fire suppression system.

Consists of a cylinder, a fire detecting tube with a maximum length of 25 meters, a container valve, and one of two agent types — CO₂ or FM200.

The components of the indirect type fire detecting tube fire suppression system are identical to those of the direct type, with the addition of a release tube. Unlike the direct type — where the fire detecting tube serves both detection and release functions — this approach uses the fire detecting tube only for detection, necessitating the inclusion of a separate release tube.

1. Easy transportation and installation. The only thing left to do after installing the cylinder is to install the detecting tube around a potential source of fire, because this system integrates fire fighting and alarm functions together and does not require matching electrical elements or pipe fittings.
2. Manual start mode. The system may be turned on without any power. The working principle relies on internal storage pressure rather than an external force to activate it. The agent will release after the fire breaks the sensing tube.
3. Compact footprint. Rather than protecting an entire zone, this approach is better suited for securing a specific system such as a communications network. The cylinder is fixed to the outside of the cabinet and takes up very little space.
