The FM200 Automatic Fire Trace Tube is an advanced automatic fire detection and suppression system designed for enclosed spaces and critical equipment. Using clean agent FM200 (HFC-227ea), this system provides fast, residue-free fire protection for electrical cabinets, server racks, control panels, and other sensitive installations.

The system works through a pressurized detecting tube installed directly inside protected enclosures. When exposed to heat or flame, the tube ruptures at the fire source and instantly releases FM200 to suppress the fire at its earliest stage—without the need for electrical power or manual activation.

Available in 2kg, 3kg, 4kg, 6kg, 9kg, and 12kg agent capacities, the FM200 Fire Trace Tube operates at a working pressure of 2.5MPa, with a maximum pressure of 4.2MPa. It supports detecting tube lengths from 5m to 25m and optional releasing tube lengths from 0.5m to 1.5m, making it suitable for a wide range of cabinet and equipment sizes.

FM200 is a colorless, odorless, non-corrosive clean agent with zero ODP, ensuring no damage to valuable equipment and no residue after discharge. The system discharges rapidly—typically within 8 seconds—providing total flooding protection and minimizing fire spread.

First, the fire extinguishing agent delivery tube performs three functions: fire detection, activation of the extinguishing device, and release of the extinguishing agent. This eliminates the need for separate fire alarm and detection devices, reducing costs and installation difficulty while greatly improving the reliability of the extinguishing device and avoiding false operation of electrical control alarm components.

Second, this device applies full-coverage extinguishing only to equipment that has already caught fire, quickly suppressing the fire in a point-to-point manner. This changes the situation with traditional gas fire extinguishing systems, which extinguish the entire equipment space regardless of fire size—resulting in slow detection response times and excessive use of extinguishing agent.

Third, the fire detection tube can be laid inside equipment and instruments that may catch fire, enabling the fastest detection of fires and the fastest point-to-point suppression of only the burning parts. This results in faster response times, less extinguishing agent consumption, lower costs, and greater environmental friendliness.

2.1 The automatic fire extinguishing device filled with heptafluoropropane can be used to extinguish the following fires:

• Flammable gas fires that can cut off the gas source before extinguishing
• Fires of Class A, B, and C liquids or molten solids such as paraffin and asphalt
• Surface fires of solids and partial deep-position fires of cotton, wool, paper, and other solid materials
• Electrical fires

2.2 The automatic fire extinguishing device filled with heptafluoropropane shall not be used to extinguish the following fires:

• Fires of chemical products containing oxidants such as nitrocellulose or gunpowder
• Fires of active metals such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, titanium, or zirconium
• Fires of metal hydrides such as potassium hydride or sodium hydride
