Product Overview:
FM200 Fire Extinguishing Agent (HFC-227ea) is a clean, colorless, and electrically non-conductive gas used in modern fire suppression systems. With a minimum 99.9% GC purity, low moisture content (≤10 ppm), and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP 0), FM200 is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fire agents such as CO₂ and Halon.
This clean agent vaporizes completely after discharge and leaves no residue, making it ideal for protecting sensitive equipment and valuable assets. FM200 does not corrode metals or electronic components and produces no secondary pollution, ensuring minimal downtime after fire suppression.

It is mainly applicable to fire protection in places or equipment such as computer rooms, communication rooms, control rooms, rooms for valuable equipment, storage rooms for cultural relics and materials, libraries and archives, data storage rooms, generator rooms, oil-immersed transformer rooms, substation rooms, circuit breakers, circulating equipment and hydraulic equipment, drying equipment, dust removal equipment, and spray painting production lines
Precautions:
At present, there is no standardized service life for heptafluoropropane gas. However, we still need to do a good job in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the gas fire extinguishing system. We suggest that the company train personnel to be professionally responsible for this project, and conduct daily appearance and pressure gauge reading checks on the entire system to see if there are any abnormal phenomena. The inspection work should be carried out on a weekly, monthly or annual basis. Every five years, contact the manufacturer to conduct a water pressure strength test on the storage bottles at a pressure of 5.3MPa. Only after passing the test can they be used again. If there is corrosion, damage or any doubt about their safety and reliability, replace them in a timely manner. Under normal circumstances, heptafluoropropane gas cylinders should be replaced every 10 years, and gas cylinders every 5 years.
