The foam proportion mixing device is an important equipment in the foam fire extinguishing system. It forms a medium and low multiple foam injection system with medium and low multiple foam generators. Its function is to provide a certain mixing ratio of foam mixed liquid for the terminal injection equipment: foam generator, foam nozzle, foam gun, foam cannon and other injection equipment to spray air foam for fire extinguishing. It is suitable for Class A and Class B fires in the production, storage and transportation of flammable liquids, especially Class B fires. It can also form a high multiple total flooding fire extinguishing system with a high multiple foam generator. It is especially suitable for extinguishing flammable liquid storage tank fires or large-area overflow fires.
Foam tank type
Foam tanks are available in different types such as horizontal, vertical and trailer. They are used to store and spray foam concentrate to suppress flames and cool burning surfaces. 1. Horizontal tanks are suitable for places with limited space. 2. Vertical tanks are suitable for places with unlimited space. 3. Trailer foam tanks are portable and can be easily transported to the fire scene.
How it works
When the system is working, the pressurized water source causes the storage tank to be filled with water through the water inlet valve, squeezes the capsule to displace the foam liquid, and mixes it with water in proportion in the proportion mixer to form a low-multiplicity foam mixture, which is output from the outlet to various low-multiplicity foam output equipment to spray foam to extinguish Class A and Class B fires such as oil and alcohol.
