The 250μm fibers are housed within high modulus plastic loose tubes, filled with a water-resistant compo-
und. These tubes, filled with waterproof material, guarantee compactness and longitudinal water blocking.
They are further wrapped in aluminum tape. This section, along with accompanying wires for support, is
encased in a polyethylene (PE) sheath, creating a figure 8 structure.
