What is the real running speed for smooth wall trays?
35 to 70 strokes per minute. The actual speed depends on tray depth and foil thickness. Most customers run at 50-60 strokes per minute for smooth wall products.
Does smooth wall production require a different mold?
Yes. Smooth wall molds have different surface finish requirements. We build both smooth wall and wrinkle wall molds based on your sample.
How many good trays per hour at 60 strokes per minute?
At 60 strokes per minute with a 3-cavity mold, that is 10,800 containers per hour before factoring in material changes or breaks.
What causes the speed range to vary from 35 to 70?
Deeper trays and thicker foil require slower speeds. Shallow trays with thin foil can run at the higher end. The machine allows you to adjust for each job.
Can this line run coated foil?
Yes. Coated and uncoated foil both work. Uncoated saves material cost. For smooth wall trays, coated foil often gives better surface results.
How long to switch from one mold to another?
About 15 minutes with one person. The hydraulic lifting arm and worktable design make the difference.
What safety features are included?
A safety door that stops the press immediately when opened. No bypass tricks — it is a hard stop.
Does the LK-T63 require special installation?
No. Standard 380V/50Hz/3 phase power. If your local supply is different, add a transformer. The machine sits on a flat concrete floor. No special foundation needed.
How does T63 compare to your T80?
T63 is a 3-cavity C-frame with grease lubrication. T80 is a 4-cavity H-frame with closed oil circuit. T80 is more stable and cleaner, but T63 is more affordable and sufficient for many customers.
