HXW Mold designs and manufactures custom thermoforming molds for food containers, takeaway boxes, meal trays, bowls, lids and other rigid packaging applications. The tooling is developed according to the product geometry, sheet material, thermoforming machine and required production output.
Depending on the project, we can provide forming tooling together with cutting and stacking tooling as an integrated solution, helping customers match the mold configuration with their existing production line.
Mold performance depends on more than the cavity shape. The forming process, material distribution, cooling system, cutting interface and stacking method must work together for stable continuous production.
Cavity geometry, plug-assist design, vacuum and pressure paths are evaluated according to product depth and sheet characteristics to improve wall-thickness distribution.
Cooling channels are arranged according to the mold structure to support consistent forming conditions and stable production during continuous machine operation.
Cutting tooling and interfaces are considered together with the forming layout to achieve accurate product positioning and reliable trimming.
Mold dimensions, mounting, positioning, air and water connections and stacking interfaces are customized according to the customer's thermoforming machine.

Yes. Depending on the machine configuration and production requirements, we can develop the forming, cutting and stacking tooling as an integrated tooling solution.
The project goes through drawing review, mold design, CNC machining, dimensional inspection, assembly inspection and functional testing. In-house mold trials can be carried out, and trial videos and formed samples can be provided for approval.
The standard lead time is approximately five weeks after receipt of the deposit and approval of the final mold drawing. Complex projects or multiple tooling sets may require additional time.
