LiFePO4 battery is 30%‑50% lighter than lead‑acid battery with same capacity.
After replacement with lithium battery, reduced weight inside the battery compartment may cause insufficient rear counterweight, and bring forklift rear‑tip‑over risk while lifting loads.
Our standard quotation does NOT include counterweight.Counterweight is an optional extra component, charged at USD 1.00 per KG.

Counterweight is not mandatory; it is only required when forklift rear‑weight is insufficient for your working load.
Q1: Does this battery come with built‑in BMS?
A1: Yes. Each ProLaker LiFePO4 battery pack is equipped with intelligent battery management system (BMS). It supports automatic cell balancing, over‑charge / over‑discharge / over‑temperature protection, as well as CAN‑bus communication to connect with forklift controller and charger.
Q2: Can your battery directly replace original lead‑acid forklift battery? Do I need modify my forklift?
A2: Voltage, capacity and outer dimensions can be customized to match your original lead‑acid battery compartment. Normally it is drop‑in replacement without truck modification. Please provide your forklift model and old battery specification for confirmation.
Q3: What charger should I use for this LiFePO4 forklift battery?
A3: You must use a dedicated professional lithium‑ion charger matching battery voltage. Do not use old lead‑acid charger. Turn off vehicle key switch before charging. If you need to stop charging, turn off charger first then pull out charging gun.
Q4: What to do if battery cannot be charged?
A4:Step1-Check whether charger is powered on normally, input cable connection is firm.
Step2-Inspect cables for damage; clean water stain / oil dirt on connector contacts.
Step3-Re‑plug charging connector firmly.
Step4-If problem remains after above steps, please contact us for after‑sales support.
Q5: Do I have to buy counterweight together with the battery? Is counterweight included in price?
A5: Counterweight is not included in standard quotation, and not required for all forklifts.
