Product Overview
Non-woven fabric multitube gauntlet is core positive plate separator for tubular lead-acid batteries.
Made of high-purity polyester via integrated high-temperature melting, spunlace, hot-pressing one-step forming process, it features uniform micropore structure, moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, lightweight, non-flammable, non-toxic and easy degradation.
Compared with traditional woven fabric gauntlet, our non-woven gauntlet eliminates aperture inconsistency defects of warp-weft interlaced fabric. Woven fabric resistance rises with tight weaving density to hinder discharge; loose weaving causes active material powder leakage & shedding. Our spunlace non-woven structure perfectly solves these pain points for battery production and long-term operation.

① Ultra-high Porosity & Uniform Micropores, Zero Active Material Shedding
Average porosity reaches 72.5%, far higher than ordinary polyester multitube (50%-55%). Tiny dense spunlace micropores block lead oxide powder penetration, leakage and loss. Stable porosity curve in 10-round repeated tests, consistent performance batch by batch.
② Ultra-low DC Resistance, Boost High-rate Discharge Capacity
Special thermoforming process cuts direct current resistance obviously lower than common polyester gauntlets. Smooth electrolyte free diffusion & fast ion migration. Under national 5h discharge rate standard, batteries assembled with our gauntlets discharge 8-10 minutes longer than polyester counterparts, outstanding high-current discharge performance.
③ Superior Mechanical Strength, Stable Pressure Bearing During Charge-Discharge
High stress deformation load, strong tensile resistance. Can stably bear 0-4bar internal pressure generated by positive active material expansion in cycling process, tightly lock active substances without tube cracking, deformation or breakage during mass production squeezing procedure.
④ Larger Battery Capacity & Extend Cycle Service Life
60%DOD cycle test with 500 gel 500 batteries verifies sustained higher discharge capacity vs polyester multitube. After 1560 small cycles, capacity attenuation is far slower. Matches DIN cycle test standard, residual capacity keeps above 105% after 400 cycles.
⑤ Performance Equal to Imported Gauntlets, Cost-effective
Third-party comparison test with imported non-woven gauntlets: all physical & chemical indicators reach imported level, production pass rate 100% without rejection. Assembled battery initial capacity, charge retention, high-rate discharge and cycle life have no obvious difference with imported products, greatly reduce raw material procurement cost for battery factories.
