A strain gauge based weight sensor is an eletronic device that converts weight into analog output which is proportional to the applied weight,thus the weight can be measured by measuring the analog output signal from the load cell.The output signal of a load cell can be calculated according to to below formula:
Power supply range: 3-15V
Rated output range: 1.0~2.0mV/V
Within the rated capacity,a load cell outputs 0~30mV signal which is proportional to the applied weight.For different applications,load cell signal amplifier can be used to amplify the mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal process.High accuracy AD converter is also an option.
