Miniature Tension And Compression Load Cell FSSM offers a compact design for a variety of applications. the S Beam Load Cell series provides accuracy, compact design features, and a wide capacity range from 10N to 1000N to choose from.The mini load cell FSSM utilizes metal foil strain gauge technology to deliver 2.0mV/V output with maximum 0.1% non-linearity of the full scale,the compact design enables the FSSM to be easily embedded into machinery or test equipment – ideal for packaging machinery, assembly machinery or end-of-line test equipment.The sensor features threaded holes on two sides for the mounting of attachments or implements,this micro force sensor can be used for both tension and compression force measurement in applications with limited space.You may find junior S beam load cell FSSM interchangeable with FUTEK load cell LSB200,Mark Miniature Force Sensors Series R04,flintec s-beam force sensor ISA,flintec load cell ISB,etc..In addition to the standard specifications,model FSSM can also be modified or customized to better fit clients' applications.

A load cell is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting load causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the weight/load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FSSM-2kg with 2.0mV/V rated output powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -6.6mV...+6.6mV.
Example two: FSSM-1kg with 2.2mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is -22mV...+22mV.
