When FD80F shows abnormal pressure readings, follow these steps:
Step 1: Check the Hygienic Process Connection
Verify that the Tri-Clamp or other process connection is correctly installed and check for leakage.
Step 2: Check the Diaphragm
Inspect the flush diaphragm for media residue, deposits or mechanical damage.
Step 3: Check the Zero Point
Verify the transmitter zero point under the specified reference condition and perform zero calibration if necessary.
Step 4: Check Temperature Conditions
Confirm that the process and ambient temperatures are within the specified operating range.
Step 5: Check Output & Communication
Verify the 4–20 mA, HART or RS485 signal and related communication parameters.
