Brief Description
The core function of the air distribution device is to ensure uniform gas distribution and avoid "dead zones" within the tower. For cylindrical towers, porous distribution plates (5%-15% porosity) or annular air distribution ducts are commonly used. For square towers, a combination of guide plates and baffles is often used. The porosity of the air distribution device must be strictly controlled: too high a porosity can easily lead to uneven gas distribution, while too low a porosity increases gas resistance and increases fan energy consumption (gas resistance is generally required to be ≤1500Pa).
