The inner wall of a Fiberglass pipe is smooth and flat, with a coefficient of friction of only 0.008-0.012, far lower than that of steel pipes (0.017) and concrete pipes (0.014-0.018). The smooth inner wall reduces the resistance to media transport, improves flow efficiency, and saves 15%-30% more energy than traditional pipes under the same operating conditions. It is also less prone to dirt and scale buildup, reducing the difficulty of later cleaning and maintenance, making it especially suitable for long-term transport of viscous media or water with high calcium and magnesium ions.
