High Concentration for Global Trade
Most international tomato paste buyers specify 36 to 38 Brix concentration. This is the standard for B2B tomato paste sold to food manufacturers who will dilute it into ketchup, sauce, juice, or soup. Lower concentration paste costs more to ship per unit of tomato solids. Higher concentration paste becomes difficult to pump and handle.
This tomato paste production line uses a multi effect evaporator to remove water from fresh tomato juice efficiently. The evaporator operates under vacuum, which lowers the boiling point and preserves tomato color and flavor. Three to five effects are available depending on your target capacity and energy costs. Each additional effect reduces steam consumption by approximately 50 percent.
Aseptic Bag Filling System
The final stage of this tomato processing line is the aseptic bag filler. Tomato paste is sterilized by the preheater and held at sterile temperature before entering the filler. The filler is enclosed in a sterile chamber where the paste fills aseptic bags ranging from 20 kilograms to 220 kilograms.
The aseptic bag itself consists of multiple layers including aluminum foil and food grade polyethylene. No refrigeration is needed after filling. The paste stays fresh for 24 months at room temperature. This is how Italian and Chinese tomato paste exporters ship product to Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Key Specifications for Export Production
Fresh tomato input ranges from 5 to 50 tons per day depending on line size. Final paste concentration reaches 36 to 38 Brix with option for up to 42 Brix. Evaporation capacity ranges from 500 to 5000 kilograms of water removed per hour. Aseptic bag sizes accepted are 20 kilograms, 200 kilograms, and 220 kilograms. Sterilization temperature reaches 95 to 105 degrees Celsius with 30 to 60 second hold time.
Quality Control Features
The refining machine removes tomato skins and seeds before evaporation. The metal detector and sorting table remove defective fruit and foreign material. The online Brix meter continuously monitors concentration so you can adjust the evaporator in real time. Lab test reports are available for each batch including Brix, pH, viscosity, color, and microbiological analysis.
