Product Overview
This EV charging DC cable is a high-performance power transmission component designed for new energy vehicle charging systems, supporting a rated voltage of up to 1500V DC and a conductor cross-section range of 1.5mm² to 240mm² (1-150mm² optional for conventional models). It is available in both shielded and unshielded versions, with optional double-insulated structure for unshielded cables according to customer needs. The product uses high-purity oxygen-free copper as the conductor, with silicone/XLPE insulation and high-strength sheath, featuring excellent electrical conductivity, high voltage resistance, wide temperature adaptation, and long service life. It is fully suitable for various EV charging scenarios, from home slow charging to commercial high-power fast charging.
Core Product Advantages
High-Purity Copper Conductor, Low Loss & High Efficiency
The conductor is made of high-purity oxygen-free copper (purity ≥99.95%) with multi-strand fine wire stranding process, which effectively reduces the skin effect, improves electrical conductivity, and reduces current transmission loss. The contact resistance is strictly controlled below 0.5mΩ, avoiding local overheating during high-current charging, and ensuring stable and efficient power transmission.
Dual Insulation Material Options, Adapt to Complex Environments
Two insulation materials are available: silicone rubber and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Silicone rubber insulation has excellent high and low temperature resistance, can work stably for a long time in the range of -40℃ to 180℃, and has good flexibility and aging resistance; XLPE insulation has outstanding electrical insulation performance, high voltage breakdown resistance, and excellent mechanical strength, which is suitable for long-term fixed wiring scenarios. Both materials meet the requirements of 1500V DC high voltage resistance, with a voltage withstand margin of more than 1.5 times the rated voltage.
The shielded version is designed with a tinned copper wire braided shielding layer, which can effectively shield external electromagnetic interference, prevent signal crosstalk in the charging system, and ensure the stability of the charging control signal. The shielding coverage rate is more than 85%, which meets the EMC requirements of new energy vehicle charging systems. The unshielded version can be customized with double-insulated structure according to customer needs, which improves the safety protection level while reducing the cost.
Wide Temperature Adaptation, Stable Performance in Harsh Scenarios
The product can work stably in the temperature range of -40℃ to 125/150℃, which can adapt to the extreme cold environment in winter and the high temperature environment generated by long-term high-current charging in summer. The sheath material has excellent oil resistance, ozone resistance, UV resistance and wear resistance, which can effectively resist the erosion of gasoline, diesel, lubricating oil and other chemicals, and is suitable for long-term use in outdoor charging piles, on-board wiring and other harsh environments.
High Flexibility & Anti-Fatigue, Long Service Life
The multi-strand fine wire stranding structure gives the cable excellent flexibility, with a minimum bending radius of ≤6D, which is convenient for frequent plugging and unplugging, bending and dragging during charging. The anti-bending fatigue performance is outstanding, and it can withstand more than 10,000 times of bending without conductor breakage or insulation damage, which greatly extends the service life of the cable.
