Animal-derived amino acids are primarily obtained from hydrolysates of animal proteins, encompassing fish meal, bone meal, animal hair (e.g., feathers, bristles), silkworm pupae, animal blood, viscera, skin and bones, and low-value fish. They are manufactured via hydrolysis, deacidification, desalination and spray drying to extract available amino acids.
