Assembly: Unfold the flat-packed gabion units on a level surface, fold up the side panels, and lace the vertical edges securely using Galfan tie wire or pneumatic C-rings.
Placement & Anchoring: Align the assembled cages along the excavated foundation line and drive ground stakes to maintain straight alignment.
Stone Filling: Fill the cages in one-third lifts using hard, angular, weather-resistant stone (100 mm to 200 mm diameter). Install internal bracing wires between lifts to prevent outward panel bulging.
Lid Closure: Pull the lid tightly over the stone fill, align all edges, and tie off securely along the perimeter and diaphragm walls.
