A1: Zigbee is more stable for whole-home systems. It uses a Mesh network, so it doesn't slow down your WiFi router even if you have 20+ blinds. It also consumes less power and responds faster.
Q2: Does this work without a gateway?
A2: No. You must have a Tuya Zigbee Gateway (Hub) to connect this motor to the App and Voice Assistants. Without a gateway, it can only be controlled via the RF remote.
Q3: Is the fabric totally black out?
A3: This specific model uses "Semi-Blackout" fabric (Zebra/Day-Night style), which filters light rather than blocking it completely. If you need 100% darkness, please ask about our full blackout roller blind options.
Q4: Can I use my Philips Hue or Samsung SmartThings hub?
A4: This motor is optimized for the Tuya / Smart Life ecosystem. While Zigbee 3.0 is a standard protocol, for the best compatibility and feature access, we highly recommend using a Tuya Zigbee Hub.
