Product Overview
Sapphire Ring Washers are precision components fabricated from optical-grade single-crystal Al₂O₃. With a Mohs hardness of 9, excellent chemical stability, and an exceptionally wide transmission spectrum, sapphire ring washers are ideal for extreme environments requiring high durability, insulation, transparency, and dimensional accuracy.
These washers are commonly used in semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, medical devices, optical instruments, and high-temperature or chemically aggressive environments. Customized dimensions and specifications are available according to your design drawings.

Mohs hardness of 9 (second only to diamond), offering exceptional scratch resistance and long service life.
Outstanding corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents (except HF). Suitable for harsh chemical environments.
High transmittance between 0.3 μm (UV) and 5 μm (IR); 80–90% transmission across the visible spectrum (400–700 nm).
Melting point of 2030°C, operational stability up to 1800°C short-term. Suitable for high-temperature sealing and insulation.
Resistivity greater than 10¹⁴ Ω·cm. Sapphire’s inertness makes it an ideal electrical and thermal insulator.
Sapphire exhibits outstanding compressive strength and low friction after polishing (Ra < 0.01 μm), enabling use in precision mechanical systems.
Large outer and inner diameters can be produced for special applications. Fully customizable according to customer drawings.
