The flat steel thickness ranges from 3mm to 10mm, while crossbar diameters measure between 3mm and 8mm.
Weight Specifications
The weight of steel grating varies based on size, material composition, and structural design. Stainless steel gratings are typically heavier than carbon steel equivalents. Denser grid patterns with thicker flat steel and crossbars also increase weight. Standard carbon steel platform step grating typically weighs between 30kg and 50kg per square meter.
Appearance & Construction

The surface remains flat with securely welded intersections, free from burrs and defects.
