The process of natural gas liquefaction basically includes feed gas pretreatment (purification), liquefaction, refrigerant circulation compression, product storage, loading and auxiliary system, etc. The main process includes feed gas purification and purification gas liquefaction process.
Selection of natural gas purification process
As a raw gas, natural gas must be thoroughly purified before liquefaction. In other words, acid gas, water and impurities such as H2S, CO2, H2O, Hg and aromatic hydrocarbons in raw gas are removed to prevent them from freezing at low temperatures and clog and corrode equipment and pipelines.
