Perforated version: mainly used for sowing and seedling stage. Holes help to drain excess water, prevent root flooding, increase substrate permeability, and promote root growth downwards.
Non porous plate: mainly used as a water tray (storage tray) placed under the perforated seedling tray to provide bottom water supply. It can also be used for plant cuttings, hydroponics, or as a tray for directly placing potted plants to prevent water leakage
Q:Is there a functional difference between black and white? A:There are subtle differences. Black trays have better heat absorption properties and can help increase substrate temperature and promote seed germination in early spring or low temperatures. The white tray has good reflectivity and can maintain a relatively stable temperature in the root area, avoiding scorching of the side root system during high temperatures in summer. You can choose according to the planting season and greenhouse environment.
