Product Specification
Ammonium persulfate is a commonly used breaker for fracturing fluids. However, when present in excessive amounts, it can cause the fracturing fluid to lose viscosity prematurely. Encapsulated gel breakers represent a new type of gel-breaking technology. They are made by using one or more conventional breakers as the core material and coating them with a waterproof layer to form tiny microcapsules.
These capsules can slowly release the breaker, allowing use at higher concentrations without negative side effects. BA1-38 Encapsulated Gel Breaker has been widely used both domestically and internationally. Statistical analysis shows that oil and gas wells fractured using BA1-38 achieve production rates about 11% higher than those fractured using conventional encapsulated breakers.
