The Traveling Bridge Sludge Scraper is designed for rectangular or horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks. The traveling bridge moves back and forth, driving scraper blades to push settled sludge to the sludge hopper for discharge. Featuring stable operation, lightweight design, and easy maintenance, it's ideal for primary and secondary clarifiers in municipal and industrial wastewater plants.
Working Principle
The scraper operates on dual traveling rails driven by a motor and gearbox, moving the bridge along the tank. During forward motion, the scraper pushes sludge to the sludge trough; on return, the scraper lifts to reduce resistance. Collected sludge discharges through the outlet pipe, with optional skimming devices for floating scum removal, enabling continuous automatic operation.
