Working Process
Preparation: Feedstock is pre-mixed to optimal C:N ratio (25-30:1) and moisture (~55%), formed into windrows on a hardstanding area.
Operation: Operator drives along the windrow from the panoramic cabin. Single-lever hydraulic control engages the large-diameter drum, which lifts, mixes, and throws material backward, fluffs and aerates the pile, introducing oxygen deep into the core, and re-forms the windrow into a loose, porous structure.
Hydraulic Height Adjustment: Drum height adjusts from 1.8-2m on the fly to accommodate different windrow sizes.
Continuous Processing: Self-cleaning tracks prevent material buildup. Turning cycles repeat every 2-3 days during active fermentation (typically 2-4 weeks).
Monitoring: Operators track temperature, moisture, and oxygen levels to maintain optimal conditions (55-65°C).
