【Common Problems & Solutions】
Drive axis error at CS9 boot — typically caused by WMS pendant communication loss or an open safety chain. Replace the WMS with the Maintenance Plug to isolate; if axes jog normally, replace the WMS cable or pendant.
DC bus undervoltage preventing drive enable — verify the pre-charge resistor, soft-start contactor, and bulk capacitors. On a 400–480 VAC 3-phase supply, the DC bus should reach 540–680 VDC within ~3 seconds of power-up.
Encoder amplitude failure on a single axis — inspect the motor encoder cable for continuity and shield damage at the arm-side bulkhead connector. Contaminated or loose connector pins are the most common cause after long storage or shipping.
