How to maintain PCU PPF?
Maintaining PCU PPF is simple thanks to its strong surface coating and instant self-healing performance. Owners should wash the vehicle regularly using pH-neutral car shampoo to avoid degrading the film’s protective layer. Abrasive brushes and harsh chemicals should be avoided, as they can create unnecessary stress on the surface. Microfiber towels are recommended for drying to prevent swirl marks—although light scratches often self-repair under heat. Applying a ceramic booster or PPF sealant every few months can enhance hydrophobicity, making it easier for water, dirt, and oil to slide off. Bird droppings, tree sap, and bug acids should be cleaned promptly, although PCU’s chemical resistance already reduces the risk of etching. For long-term care, avoid pressure washer nozzles too close to edges to prevent lifting. With proper maintenance, PCU PPF maintains deep gloss, clarity, and long-term durability for over 12–15 years.
