How do I clean and maintain photochromic window film?
Photochromic window film maintenance follows the same guidelines as standard automotive window tint. Use a soft microfiber cloth with a pH-neutral, ammonia-free window cleaner. Never use abrasive cloths or ammonia-based products, as these can damage the photochromic compound layer and cause premature degradation. Avoid scraping or scratching the film surface. Goodcarway Factory treats all photochromic film edges with UV-stable sealant to prevent moisture ingress at the perimeter - a common failure point in cheaper alternatives that skip this step.
